The virtual Europe-Hong Kong Green Infrastructure Investment Roundtable concluded successfully this morning (May 22), bringing together project owners from Europe and investors and service providers from Hong Kong. The event aimed to facilitate collaboration and showcase innovative green projects. It provided a platform for potential partnerships and investments between Europe and Hong Kong in the green infrastructure sector.Projects from Europe included a modern plant that utilises the patented BIOSIP process to produce biomethane from the organic fraction of urban solid waste by AGATOS spa from Italy; CEiiA from Portugal showcased their Advanced Air Mobility Business Unit, focusing on integrating drones into urban ecosystems for last-mile logistics, medical emergencies, and human transportation; and Port of Dunkerque in France highlighted their photovoltaic panels installed on hangar and warehouse roofs, generating self-generated renewable energy at the port.During the roundtable, experienced service providers and investors from Hong Kong shared their insights and provided feedback on the presented investment projects. Key contributors included: Prof. Ir Steve Wong, Chairman of BillionGroup Technologies Limited, Mr. Kent Jan, Director & Head of Digital Transformation & Innovation at Hong Kong Land, and Mr. Rex Wong, JP, Executive Director & CEO of Kum Shing Group.Thank you very much once again to all speakers and other observers from both sides who joined us this morning.
